We've Been Here Before

Explore something new

Release·2025·Artist Single

We’ve Been Here Before was written with a very specific image in mind: a drone flying over an action sequence in a spy thriller.

I imagined the camera moving above the chaos, watching everything unfold from a distance. Cars moving through city streets, people running through alleys, a target trying to disappear, and someone else watching every move from above. That was the feeling I wanted the song to have. Not just action, but action seen through surveillance.

The track is meant to feel tense, controlled, and constantly moving. It does not need to explode right away, because the pressure comes from the feeling that something is already happening. There is a sense that the scene has been set, the plan is already in motion, and everyone involved is trying to stay one step ahead of each other.

For me, this song lives in that space between calm and panic. From above, everything can look organized and calculated, but underneath that view is chaos. That contrast is what interested me. I wanted the music to feel like it was watching the action from a cold distance while still carrying the danger of what was happening on the ground.

The title We’ve Been Here Before adds to that feeling for me. It makes the track feel like this is not the first time these characters have ended up in this situation. There is history behind the tension. Maybe this is another chase, another mission, another mistake, or another moment where everything is about to fall apart in a familiar way.

I wanted the music to feel cinematic without needing a specific film attached to it. It is built around motion, suspense, and atmosphere. The kind of track that feels like it belongs over a scene where the audience knows something is coming, even before the characters do.

We’ve Been Here Before is about controlled movement, hidden pressure, and the feeling of watching a dangerous situation unfold from above.
